EH????Wish I had the chance to find out how bad it is in the snow this week.
I'm stranded in Portugal because Britain is too tight to spend money to keep airports open
Would you not rather be in Portugal than Britian???
I would, especially now

You will find nearly all front wheel drive cars are. I have a diff in mine so it copes a tad better...If you want decent performance in these bad conditions you winter tyres.
I accept it's not built for the snow, but try owning a RWD in this weather and you will see how good the LCR is
Also without a turbo you don't have the massive torque spike at about 2,500RPM'shad a bit of a drift round my estate good job its quiet around here
good fun, not had that much of a problem with traction however i dont have low profile alloys
I take offence to the title of this thread. The LCR is brilliant in the snow, you just have to use appropriate tyres and know how to drive it.
I have my summer tyres on and I managed to get up a seriously crazy hill on Tuesday that had most FWD cars turning around (even ones with skinny tyres). I followed a 4X4 volvo up the hill and he was all over the place. This is in my lowered, remapped LCR on 225 40 18 vredestein ultrac sessantas.

I know that as I'm Scottish and have driven on snow for 15 years.maybe that 's the problem ? what's the point of being anywhere near those revs on ice unless ya spinning already ?
