Evening Guys

I have been trying to find a leak in my boot and have narrowed it down to a crack in the join in at the end of the gutter after a few hours with the hose. It is at where the roof meets the C Pillar.

What is the best approach to fixing this? Just putting some sealant or Car bond on top of it?

I was thinking of grinding some of it away using a dremel for better adhesion?

Thanks

Normal bathroom sealant doesn't stick very well to metal, found that out using it on door seals.
You're best using butyl tape or builders mastic.

I wouldn't go removing any paint it'll likely start rusting, just make sure the area is clean and dry.
You could even use something like black chassis paint.

Think I have had the same problem return, thought I'd look it up, happen to stumble onto my post from before, i'm easily entertained :)
