Yeah I got the photos with the cage. But going by the photos lol it's different and bits missing. I have been promised 5-6 call backs from custom cages and email but no one gets back to me.
I went with gaz because they are 45 mins from me all in house built so any modifications or problems can be solved right away. I also have them on my race saxo.
KW are all imported so any problems you need to go threw a dealer and hope they wanna help. If you get hold of kw again I been told they are hard to deal with.
I was looking at AST but the kit the same as gaz was gonna be about 3k. Mainly cos they say it would be a 1off build as it's not a kit they stock.

Sounds like s good set up anyways. My friends garage is a kw dealer so I would hope that’s not a problem but I was a bit annoyed by a 6-8 week lead.

I like these. But they weigh something. Plus with my open door I’ve got space for all my snacks for the drive to the ring because there’s no other places ha ha

Personally I would cover them or cover the sharp edges due to any accidents or even slides in to gravel etc your arms flap about and with doors open like that you are able to cut your arm.
I would fit them the weight they would add with ally pop rivits is about the same as taking a good ****.

Yes I have some rayrim edge protection I can apply which will grip the edges and stay on but I’ve been looking for some door covers actually

So update,
Took the dash out because whoever mounted it was all over the place and insecure. Then I decided I was better off without it as it was extra weight.
Have made a gauge holder and a switch panel for isolator and fire extinguisher pull. Spent ages making the wiring super neat.
Picked up my track wheels and got some little fancy slicks delivered for them!
Next week car is off for dyno and a fine toothcomb through at a friends garage.
Considering a single mass flywheel set up and some race mounts while it’s there
Another 3 weeks for KW’s to arrive but carbotech paxds will be here Monday and have a full set of super pro bushes to fit when kw’s are here.
Ordered a matching seat for one that’s in and getting mount supports welded in next week. Need to source a black sabelt harness.
Now has an mot and took it out today. Little beast!
Looking to do Cadwell on 18/7 all being well if anyone else is?

You should take some logs, of boost, timing etc. Maybe have it remapped?Went on the dyno yesterday...

Well that alone could be the problem, the maf is what tells the car how much air is coming in and how much fuel to use, when it's not reading properly it could resort to base line predetermined fuel mixture as a safety precaution
Yes maf sensor on order so fit Monday and a re run.

Yes it’s a BAM. It’s got a print out that shows it would be stage 2 and invoice paperwork that came with the car showing a map.
How good that map is I don’t know till it dynos right but it’s got a diff and slick tyres to run so going to tweak the map to suit
