I have found two tonight im going to call about in morning otherwise im going to go for this one.

The 2nd one is a 03 on a 52 plate with 72k in yellow with 8495 on screen which sounds more like it!

One OVNI yellow Leon shortly to be in my hands.

Its the 210 but its had revo and its got the recaros fitted.

Cant wait

£8495 for a Revo'd, Recaro'd LCR is a good deal. You should be seriously chuffed with that

I am indeedy its even got the recaros - ok it cost me couple hundred more than the black one but im well happy.

They are putting it in workshop today see if it needs anything (recent MOT so should be ok) its even got tax so I can pretty much drive it away.

Glad to see back of BMW - the 330d is quick mind you but god everytime something goes wrong I fork out £300!!!

Sounds like a good dealer as well then if they are giving it a good once over before letting you have it. When are you picking it up?

Hoping this weekend but likely to be next.

I am in the Highlands and its down near Oldham somewhere CAMotors they are called.

They seem up front didnt say its mint just said its clean few stone chips nice car etc.

I tend to like people like that more than its mint - has it had paint, well yeah

Seems like a good deal, i payed £9200 for a 52 plate with 55k, recaros, sat-nav and private plate. Took me 7 months to find tho.

Just off phone to garage its going to be ready mid-week but I cant get done till next Saturday to pick it up

However apparently its had the APR map rather than the REVO and has other bits and bobs done to it as well including a carbon intake.

The guy didnt know if it had exhaust done as well but said its quick

How the hell am I supposed to wait patiently for a week to pick it up

Well wish me luck chaps off down the road on Sat morning to pick it up.

Sold the BMW for cash in end so ended up even on the whole deal so very pleased.

I am having some problems getting my questions answered by the dealer so I have arranged a flight down and a nights kip at a friends (he is picking me up from airport)

So if it all goes pear shaped I can get home ok

Incidently I'm selling a Corrado with a new engine in it although I don't for a second think it's what you're after

Really sorry dude Nothing like looking forward to something and it being a total let down.

One thing I will say though, is you were lucky in a way. If the car had been with them for a day or so before you got there you may have never known about the state it's in until it's too late. A days work would have made the car look 100% better and the dealer could have fobbed it off with some under-rate repairs to make it look better. It's amazing the tricks they know to make a total dog look like a minter.

The hunt continues I guess then....?

Just a thought, but can you post the reg number of the car, just in case anybody else goes to look at it?
