When I purchased one of my type R's new i cleaned it every week without fail to keep it looking as good as possible. Lol seem to be a bit like that now owning a white car again.Plus it's funny seeing the neighbours doing there cars after they see how clean mine is.You can see one in my RR its a fiat 500 and was hanging later that day it got a clean for the first time in weeks. :D

Nice LCR, welcome to the club :)

There is plenty of things to buy for these, it's all how far your wallet lets you at the end of the day. Very rewarding once tuned too.

I know the feeling kebabwarrior, everytime I clean the car, a 'funny' neighbour either asks me to do theirs or wash it themselves!
Thanks tom, yeah I have big plans for the car but il keep it on the road so one thing at a time!

Today I changed the dogbone mount to a new one with polybushes, both 13mm bolts broke so I tried smashing at it with a hammer but it's too close to the gearbox for my liking!
Angle grinder in the end. Was it worth it!?
Definetly, I would recommend the mod to anyone, absoloutley no movement changing gear and it feel great round corners too

Probably the best mod still you can do to an LCR... incredible difference to wheelhop being turfed and getting that power down. Nice one mate.

Got the superpro one on mine works so well.

Yeah mate totally agree with you, I've just realised from your profile pic that when I was looking for my LCR, yours was up on pistonheads? Man if I had the money I would have bought it, currently on the 10th page of your RR getting ideas ;) haha

 It was for sale, but due to timewasters it no longer is mate. Since taking the ad down I've done a few bits, new N75, put a RamAir induction kit on, fixed a couple of boost leaks I wasn't happy with, only minor ones but a leak is a leak all the same!

Happy reading :) Plenty of mods in there... depends where you want to go with the car though I guess?

Tell me about it mate, the Internet is full of timewasters! Quite right to keep it :) get a feeling in say 5-10 years time these cars will be very sought after!

It was time to stiffen up the ride! Got these cheapy fk's but I'm pretty impressed with them so far, will need a bit of adjusting etc but very happy with them,
Also fitted the ram air induction to replace the fake k&n on it.
And de-bashed the 'leon' on the rear!

Thank you tom :)

Took her up Crail 1/4 mile at the weekend, it's only 10 minutes from the house so I'm pretty lucky.
Only one run since it was an hours wait to go up the strip but she pulled well and scooshed the vectra vxr!

Here's a few pics, note she was de-tarred, clay bar, purple rain v2 from autobrite, cherry glazed then a finished coat of autofinnesse wax so mega shiny!

Thanks guys Kebabwarrior, it's usually seagulls that flock to it as soon as it's clean, nice shiny red target for them!

Thanks again Kebabwarrior and richycupra,

A wee update here. Bought the toyosports welly cooler.
Thought about spraying it black so it was discreet then thought I would of maybe try spraying 'FORGE' or 'AIRTEC' on it but thought I'd try and be unique and get artistic.

Didn't turn out as good as I would have liked but I suppose it's different...

If I ever do it again, il remember to stick the whole stencil down so there isn't any overspray.

Thank you L14M H, to be honest I'm not enjoying the coilovers much, only because my house is surrounded by country roads! When I get onto good roads though, they feel great on the car.

So would you recommend them? If it's just the firmness on crap roads I can deal with that.
