Leaky Tailgate

Opened the tailgate on my 2002 Cupra at the weekend and noticed some water dripping from the nearside light cover. I took the cover off and had a feel around to find quite a bit of water inside the plastic trim.

Has anyone else seent his happen and is there a fix for it?

hey cupraian do your rear washers work? if they dont then it means the water pipe has come off and is leaking inside your tailgate trim.

i have a similar problem, its now killed my reverse lights, cause its been so long, i have no idea how to get the interior cover off from the boot to get to the problem, seat want me to sell my right arm and kidney plus clan all their cars just to fix it! any ideas?
