Leather wheel re-trim!

Hi all,

Was thinking about having the steering wheel re-trimmed in a new leather (softer/less grain!) - has anyone done this?

I've seen the Isotta covers but would like to replace the old leather but keep the standard thickness and style of stitching!

Anyone know of a company that does this (I was thinking Classic Car restorer!!!??) and what you'd expect to pay?

Cheers

DC

Although the leather wheel on my GTI 16v was in good condition, I thought it looked very dated, so I replaced it with the wheel and airbag from a mk3 Cupra turbo, much nicer to hold, much softer leather, and it freshens up the interior a treat, aswell as being o/e, so no cheap looking ripspeed bodge ups.

I'll see if I can get a pic.
