So the car is now finished, and I am seriously chuffed with the results
it was 285bhp with 287lbft at 1.3 bar and with water meth 290bhp.
it was flowing 250bhp on less than one bar on actuator pressure alone...normally the CR Turbo units have to be worked hard to flow, but this is working seamlessly
The little K03 hybrid was reaching it's limit, not to mention the rods also, due to the spikey nature of a KKK turbo we are playing it safe. The turbo "could" flow over 300bhp, but then it's squeaky bum time for if the engine stays in one piece.
Power is now awesome, right across the rev range up to the redline, it's still holding 1.2bar.
Bare in mind we had to push the turbo at 1.5/1.6 bar to get 264bhp.....it wasn't flowing. Now since with the SFS supersize TIP, 3" downpipe, decat and water meth it has gained almost 30bhp. The mapper reported that the supersize TIP really helped to unleash the power.
