leon Black grill

I was reading a couple of members posts regarding fitting black grills to their mk2 Leons , was well impressed by pics . I have already fitted a FR frontbumper on my black tfsi sport so the new grill was a must . Just fitted it .. looks the nuts !!!!
When i bought my leon it was just a car but now after spending hours on SCN ( nightshift have some uses !! ) i've become hooked on improving my baby .

Yes the black grill is so much better than the silver one. The modding game is an addiction especially with people encouraging you in here.

How easy was the FR bumper to fit?

the front bumper was easy to swap took about an hour in total , i found a proper good exploded seat diagram that had been postedon SCN , this helped to find all the star bolts that are hidden , well worth the effort . My ins co classed it as a seat optional extra so no increase on policy .
I'm a newby to this site and dont think i can post pics yet , is that right ?

Your right with this lol, i did the same thing and got rear bumper and exhaust fitted. Pics will be coming soon

A long time since this was asked, sorry but I don't frequent the forum as much these days. It's an original SEAT part, the one from the Cupra II prefl.

...yes, the BLACK Grill is a standard Cupra item.

I went from the original Silver grill, to the Cupra one, then the Linea-R, then back to Black ! Stealthy.

It's not a standard item on the Cupra prefl, as mine "had" the silver. Unless it was standard on certain colours?

You're right. I forgot to add it was standard from MY08 and afterwards.
