depends how low you buy em! lol, mine are 35mm drop eibach touring springs hards as hell with 18" rs4's

I've got an SX TDi at the minute and am short of cash and want to lower it. And i've seen a few people selling their original cupra springs for around 40 quid, so i was wondering how much the original cupra springs would lower a standard car.
the facelift bumpers are bigger though aren't they? they sit a bit lower and deeper, and with the skirts as well prob makes it look lower

no the face lift cupra bumpers are well different to the standard leon bumpers. and even the pre facelift cupra bumper is different to the standard cupra bumpers.

I know there different because I have both sets of bumpers for mine.
What I'm saying is the non facelift TDI and cupra bumpers are the same.
The facelift cupra and TDI bumpers are the same.

No because the first cupra's came with the bumpers that are standard on leon's now. So yeh there different but the the standard bumpers like on my TDi 04 Leon are completely different to the 04 Leon Cupra's. And then the next facelift Leon Cupra bumpers are even more different.
Thanks mate. Prob gonna save up for proper lowering springs, or coilovers. All the hassel because i just wanted to know how much cupra springs lowered the car!
