I do notice after 30min racing my coilpacks get to hot and loose spark efficiency. I already have low mount PagParts mani and everything wrapped... any suggestions?

These are the standard push down 1.8 115R ones. I have the 2.0 version with INA adapters I will test out next trackday.

Heres what I did today. I attached it on the lower side with a bolt that used to be for the oem heatshield so hot air will stay on the backside. I also trimmed the rubber gasket between hood and cowling.

Yea it's a fun car for sure. I wonder if I should go with same gear ratio on my haldex build or go back to shorter gasoline gearing...

So I bought a Haldex Leon Mk1 and the plan is as follows:

Swap over Cupra R bodypanels and interior.
Swap over built motor and ECU
add catcams with adjustable cam wheel
upgrade turbo from billet 3071R to a custom PPT 5935R 0.72ar
Peloquin Torsens on front and rear axle
CRC Performance Haldex standalone controller

Forgot to mention I step away from Ksport coilovers to H&R RSS Clubsport

Pics post down the road.

Yeah I think this will be fun. The gearbox in the Haldex Leon is much tighter than the 02M from my Cupra R. A bit short gears for the effect I'll run but It'll be ok until I strip a gear and then I'll get a Toledo box with slightly longer gearing.
