Do it mate, if your taking the bumper off to fit the FMIC, use that opportunity to fit the splitter then, so it makes it easier for you to line the splitter up.

Really good mod and very cheap and easy to do. With the bumper off it'll be even easier.

Has anyone got a guide on how to fit these? Plus how much did you guys pay to have the front and back grey bump strips colour coded out of interest?

Loving your cupra R JKing, VERY clean!!

Take the bumper off and turn it upside down. After trimming the two long location spigots (used on Leon) off the splitter, lay it on the bumper where you want it. Now secure it with G-clamps.

Now start in the middle at the front and drill a hole, secure splitter with a nut (nylock) and bolt. Now work your way out doing the same, positioning and tweaking the position of the spiltter as you go.

When fitted you will see that the splitter is about 40mm too long each side in sticks out into the wheel arches. Trim it down with a sharp hacksaw. Refit bumper. Job done.

Good guide by beaker though.

I found that pretty easy as i was taking the bumper off anyway. Probably easier to use rivits if you dont want to take the bumper off and you don't have access to ramps.

I was going to do a proper guide when i fitted it but forgot to take my camera

just jacked the car up....pre drilled holes in the splitter then screwed a few self tappers in to the bumper...job done...took 15 minutes..of which atleast 5 was jacking the car up
