Cupra all the way. I know the ED30 is obviously Limited but its still a golf, A reps car that is alway over priced!

Why pay more for the same engine and a fewer accessories, Cupra and use the extra cash to mod or save for something else useful.

Read the question ;)

If you could swap a Leon FR/Cupra ( Petrol FR ) for a Golf GTI Edition 30 and you didn't have to pay any extra, what would you do?

I'm sure a lot of us bought the Cupra partly because it was a 'cheap' fast car. I nearly bought a GTI ED30 (same price but £10k more miles and 1 year older than my cupra) but it was sold before I managed a test drive. Probably for the best tbh :D

Would of been nice to test drive the golf but VW dealers being too snotty for the own good didn't allow that one....so therefore if the Edition 30 drove like the Cupra but with a better interior then yes probably the Edition 30 for me...... I do like the tartan seats.

It would also depend a lot on the dealers.... I know how bad SEAT dealers can be....what are VW dealrrs like????

going by the TT and golf forums all of the VAG group dealers are tosh lol

wouldnt have either if it was a case to change my car then i would look to a different marque , if you are asking if an edition 30 is better than the Cupra or the other way round then its a tie , both offer different things , dsg , bigger brakes , nice seats ect

i bought my cupra because it was new and not many about and didnt want to be like every other ford or vw driver.

Methinks the question is a hypothetical one as it's one of those too good to be true things so I'm going to give a real world answer.

Keep what you have, better the devil you know and all that

For me 100% the Cupra.
I drive both cars, the Cupra is much more hardcore and the best car tot drive.
Prefer the looks of the Leon, a Golf is so boring!
In the Netherlands the Leon is holding it's value very well, just like the Golf.

Ed30 without a doubt! From my experience the build quality of Volkswagens far surpasses that of a Seat!
Speak to seat/skoda dual franchis mechanics and they will tell you Skoda wins hands down for build & reliabilty - stranges when most of the bits come out of the same spares bin?!@>
