Leon FR Down on power help needed

Hi i have a 2005 leon FR 180hp, in the last couple of weeks the turbo has started making a constant whistleing noise when accelerating and it struggles to rev past 4k and generally lacks power. Before used to feel turbo kick in and get sudden acceleration. Car has been back to seat garage they change MAF but that did nothing and they say its not registering any fault codes, i have forge Dv fitted.

Any suggestions on where to begin looking would be appreciated?

Sounds like a boost leak... have you got a VAG tuner in your area who you could take it to. Dealerships aren't usually the best places for fault finding in my experience.

I live near Guildford in Surrey, so think AMD Technik got a workshop not that far away. Any ideas on the most likely place for a boost leak?

Could be any of the hoses or even the O-ring on the DV...
