Leon FR ... I need Brakes

My Leon FR is great after i did the APR ECU upgrade ... but i suffer from wheel spin even in third gear, i've been told a dig bone mount will help with this ... but my main problem is brakes. The current ones i have are OEM and i think i need to go for aftermarket as the factory ones are cutting it anymore ... your thoughts and suggestions ...

is yours a tdi fr? mine used to wheelspin 4th after the remap in the wet. since new tyres mine has been much better in all conditions,

get wheel hop if i boot it in 1st now so think the dogbone mount will help.

EBC and Ferodo DS2500 seem to be very popular, this is what i have on mine and cant complain

No mate, mines a petrol 1.8 FR, well we don't get much wet here in Saudi Arabia but the dust doesn't help so i still get wheelspin in third if i push it ... mind you if the road is a bit course then i avoid most of the wheel spin but raods here are quite smooth due to the heat. I think a Dog Bone mount is definately a part of the solution, the Pirelli Dragons that i have on are great so long as the road is slightly course ... so yeah i think i'll get a dog bone and see how it copes after that ... Sounds good to me, as i've heard that brand being mentioned quite a few times ... how much did that set u back?

have you 288mm disks or 312mm disks. if you only have 288s 312s are a good upgrade and not very expencive

Good stuff amigo ... i'll keep that in mind when i start asking around for pricing ... i doubt i have the 312mm

yeah 312mm brakes are what i am going for when i get round to it
