Hi Pablo,

Great choice and spec - v similar to the one I ordered 2 weeks ago (21/05/16). I too am jumping ship from my trusty Octy Estate!

I was quoted del of 7-10 weeks but was warned that August is factory shut down, so may end up waiting till Sep but hope not!

Finally got a build week of 28 - week commencing 11/07/216 - can't come soon enough!

Mine arrived 6 weeks early.

Get it next week! Excited isn't the word

Hopefully I get a call next week with a build week the week after then unless some of my options delay it. I would be happy with that. Do you know how long delivery takes after this?

I'm not sure and my dealer hasn't said. Looking at other posts, 3 -4 weeks seems the norm though my order form states delivery by 30th July!

I noticed that from your other post - not jealous at all :). fingers crossed I get a call like that!

I ordered mine (albeit, a 1.8 tech pack) 11 days ago so I would assume I'd get a similar build week of July, guess we shall have to just wait and see, was tempted by the 1.4 but the 1.8 wanted me a little more :D.

I ordered mine, (5 door 1.4 TSI ACT, Tech Pack, Apollo Blue, 18" wheels, Reversing camera) on 28.04.2016. I was quoted a delivery date of 30.06.2016. I was given a build week of 23 (this week) 2 weeks ago. The dealer rang me today to tell me it had just arrived in the country :D.

He expects it to be at the dealers at the end of next week.

Wow!

With mine being the 1.8 it is almost certain it'll go full term because they are so rare (everyone buys 1.4s or 2.0 diesal 184s) but I guess we'll see, crazy thing is I could have 1 next week if I wanted a white car but I don't, apollo blue all the way! Bah oh well, won't be chasing the dealer up just yet heh.

Apollo blue seems really popular too. I really wanted alor but my wife wasn't brave enough.

The apollo i saw in person in my test drive on a gorgeous sunny day, and I just fell in love with it, it's such a nice, bright, but not overly glaring colour, soft, metallic shiny blue and a unique blue too, so nice.

I'm thinking of getting apollo blue but still wonder if I am brave enough to go for alore!
The 1.8 is a fantastic car. Mine is now 3 years old and booked in for its MOT and service next week. I'm not going to keep it until it's 4 years and intend to have a new one by next spring. I will almost defiately have another 1.8 but this time have a DSG. I know it's a bit rare and I keep hearing rumours that it may eventually be phased out and so I'm keeping watch to see what happens.

I was hoping they'd put the 192 engine from the ibizia in the leon FR but it seems not any time soon, maybe in the future, I always figured they should have the 2.0 engine up to 220PS like the Octavia VRs, that engine in the Leon would be crazy. Anyway, i'll stop going off topic now lol. Just hopinh my order doesn't go full term 12 weeks.

They already do; slightly bigger turbo and its called a Cupra :D but seriously from what I can read online, the 220PS in the Octavia is no better really on fuel than a Cupra 280/290 PS. Having owned a 1.8TSI, it certainly is much better on fuel than the 2.0. I would say around 8-10 MPG depending on the type of journey. The 1.8 192PS from the Ibiza would be a great addition to the Leon though. Cylinder deactivation on it would be great for economy and emissions as well. I wonder why they haven't done this?

Cylinder deactivation on the 1.8 would of made me go for it. More power, bigger brakes, and more sophisticated suspension was nearly enough but wanted cheap running costs. Just a family car at the end of the day. I'll get my caterham one day.

My 1.4 is family car as well. Coming from a Focus diesel, it was the 50mpg and 150ps that did it for me.

Coming from a 1.4 astra (lol) anything that gives 13mpg more and is 2 tax bands cheaper and is literally double the power (89hp to 178hp) is literally everything it took to convice me, that and the IRS, Big Breaks, more oomph and a whopping good deal with free 3 year service and a RRP discount it was a no brainer :), thing i got lucky that day.

Just Bought one Today in White Eco 1.4Tsi FR 150 ST its great,

Traded a 280 Cupra love the extra space and so comfortable. 50mpg on the Cpmputer New so fingers crossed it was the best choice for us from the 150 diesel. Very light like a magic Carpet LOL..

I'm getting a real 50mpg+ from mine - just driven normally. It does get better as the car gets a few miles under its belt - When refilled it used to claim 490 miles to empty when new. It now says between 530 and 540 miles each time and just done 510 miles on the last tank with a claimed 45 miles to go till empty - and there's normally a few miles more on top of that available "just incase". Trip Computer reckoned it was 54mpg for the last tank which is a little optimistic - took 45.7 litres so almost bang on 51mpg. Still pretty good for a 150bhp petrol whichever way you look at it.
