Just been out to measure my car.. Got some strange looks out there with a tape measure!

At the front from the floor to the sill just behind the mudlap it is 6.5 inches. At the very back, just infront of the wheel, it is 8 inches.

Thanks for the pics Street I read also with the sport kit the dampers can bottom out so to change them also which would hike the price up so the pro springs might be the easier way to go. Think I get what you mean about the crashyness off original springs.
As for the Bluefin still no sign :( wonder if this is why it's so cheap :whistle:

The Sportline kit do look very nice though but for me they were just too low considering the roads and the miles I do. The Pro kit are a nice compromise! :)

When did you order your Bluefin? Mine was next day delivery from them via City Link. Might be worth giving Superchips a bell and getting a tracking number from them..

exactly what i needed :D i will measure mine tonight (the car ride height that is [B)]) and let you know

cheers again

I didn't order bluefin direct they took a while getting back to me with the SCN discount amount so ordered elsewhere for 375 would have gotten it direct for the extra £16 but to late. Just hope it turns up tomorrow :blink:

so mine as standard with side skirts (measured from the bottom of the side skirt) is

Front = 5.5inch from floor
Back = 7inch from floor

so means if i get these springs it would take it down to

Front: 4.5inch from bottom of side skirt to floor
Back: 6 inch from bottom of side skirt to floor

do you think 4.5 inches is ok for the average roads?

what about garage ramps (im more worried about these if i get work done on the car)

i've got 5.5 inch at frond and 6.5 at back with no side skirts. i'm considering lowering front by 5mm to balance the wheelarch gap for front and back.
I've decided against side skirts for my car because i have already experienced speed bump scraping. I don't want to put them on and then have to pay to repair them when i bottom them out :blink:

Non-regulation speed bumps and poor road surfaces = :ban:

umm a think a mine not bother then :(

Didn't realise the sideskirts made it that much lower.. I was tempted to get a pair but if they're gonna cause problems I might give them a miss.

Well after weeks of promises Bluefin finally arrived!! Superchips have had stock issues seems it's getting very popular. Will write more on the subject later but for now the quickest way to answer 'is it any good' is this. I timed 50-100 in forth before and got 13.5secs approx, I timed the same after and got 10.5secs approx. I say approx i just used stop watch on phone but would only be a few tenths out if that. 3 seconds of the time says it all :)
