Leon Headunit.

hey guys,

im looking at getting a headunit (i feel that the thread is in the right area)
basically does anyone know where i can get the facia plate?
plus could you put some of your pictures of the headunit or the facia plate.
as my car aint here till saturday it means i cant find out what they are like. etc

is it a double din headunit or a single headunit?

I got mine from the local car audio shop for a tenner but seen them on ebay for about a fiver. It's a single headunit and it looks like this.

yep - on ebay my friend. Think i got everything for the conversion on ebay at around £20 all in. I actually went to the Halfords website and chose the stereo i wanted. It then gives you all the codes for the bits pieces you need to do the conversion. Write the codes down and then go to ebay and find them. Job done!

i have sourced one from good old ebay

now time to get the headunit i want.
The alpine cde104 bti.. sadly cant put up photos yet
parrot handsfree and a iphone/ipod connector!!

104bti has iphone/ipod connector lead inlcuded or you could get any of the mk parrot range which has ipod/iphone connectivity

if you havent ordered it yet connects 2 do a "rubber touch" version if you wanted for the fascia.

the day has arrived i pick up my leon at 1pm, and already i want to get my hands into the car.
could you tell me please an easy guide in taking out the standard headunit in the car.
is it easy or hard?

you can use some "european removal keys" but there not brilliant

look at my previous thread I removed mine this week, after 3 months of trying!!!, if your near warrington u can use my keys as they are a fiver and only get used once!!
