Leon Tints

Im looking into getting my windows tinted on my Leon. Im after some pictures of Leons which have had tints, i would probably go for a light smoke on the back windows.
I have a silver Leon but any colour will do to show the tints

Now mate if you have a artic grey LCR just go with 35% as the black interior makes it look alot darker ill see if i can get some pics loaded on for you over the next couple of days but it gives the car the look such a beast deserves.

I have a leon FR+ mate so i dont have the black lining. i think i would still go for 35% though

When i had mine done the guy told me that the tint on the standard glass is the legal limit but 35% isnt bad plus the fuss dont have a light meter round here so they can go and ram it.

Should have put this in last post Lee sorry for changing subject of post but how is your car with the revo and green filter in as putting green filter with 80mm duct and DV007 on mine next month.

whats the law on tinting windows? i know the front screen cant be done but what about the other 5? and what limit can u do?

The tints on the standard windows from factory is the limit anything darker than that is illegal but not many pigs have a light meter so you ll probably get away with 35% maybe 40% but if you go rediculas (cant spell) like the boy racers you should be fine mate.

wow, i didn't know it was illegal to touch em from factory, you see so many cars with tinted windows, i thought it was ok lol, but not to touch the front 1, anyway still will prob get it done,

Thats only what i was told mate but my mates sister is a traffic pig and shes commented on my tints but not to worry thing she is just after me full stop. I recommend you get them done mate will not regret it finishes the car off nicely plus theres the added security of them.

Its not illegal to have privacy tints fittted to the rear windows. Only the fronts. If it was my insurance company would not have added my privacy tints to my policy....

Only tints forward of the b-pillar are illegal, tou can have what you want on the other windows

Wow you cn get money off your insurance for having tints thats awesome. Ye sorry missed that part out its illegal to touch the front 3 windows.

Was thinking of getting the back ones done but 35% seem dark to me, can you get lighter than that say 15%?
