Location of paint code ?

Just purchased a spoiler and I want it painted same colour as the car but I cannot find the factory sticker with the relevant info. The owners manual says its in the boot area or on the spare wheel but cant find anything there. Checked under the bonnet but same.

Yeh, should be in the boot.
Have you totally removed the boot carpet and spare wheel?
Should be there somewhere.

Maybe its in rhe owners manual.

Yes I have but the only factory sticker I found was not any were near as the one described in the owners manual. Dont know maybe the previous owner removed it himself to repaint or whatever.

That would be great but my registration is not a uk one. I live in Gibraltar/ Europe. I can sent you info from local registration log book if that helps. Like year of make or whatever. Would that help ?

Its grey colour but there are two very similar ones from that time one has code S7T the other one is S7U2. I am more inclined towards the second one. Checked these colour codes on line. If you find these colour codes on line I can send you a pic of my car and we can figure out which one it is. What do you think ?

platinum grey Cupra r is S7U. I’m not familiar with any other codes. Best bet is to get a photo on here. That’ll narrow it down massively and people may be able to help more. If you haven’t got the original service book sticker then I reckon you just need to get a paint shop to match it.

Think I found it thing its completely different as its described in the owners manual. Guess even though the manual is in English its aimed at the Spanish market. Its very faded but pretty sure its S7U so g60stu was right. Thanks guys really helpful stuff.

We can get the colour code from the chassis/VIN too
