Loss of Oil from top back of engine?? (Womble I)

okay - sounds vague I know, was told this by the guys that where trying to fit my downpipe (which I cant have wrong type and Milteck unfortunatley dont do one for my engine  ) have informed me of an oil leak coming from mid to top of the engine at the back of, towards windscreen rather than bumper side..????

Any-one got any thoughts as to what this could be before I start to panic major style... So thanks to the guys at the exhaust place for letting me know...

Could I have created a leak due to increased pressure tuning box/exhaust system - didnt think I could???

Thing is that the Oil light isnt on, so it cant be that much surely, however I guess it was enough to get the guys to raise it, (I know the chap very well so it was more of a I think you need to know this rather than anything else....)

Long shot this, and may not be so applicable to the Leon.

But on my Ibiza, the oil filler cap actually screws into a short plastic extension tube, which then screws into the cam cover (presumably to raise the oil cap to the height of the engine cover).

Anyway, during one of the services, the hamfisted mechanics managed to break one of the plastic retaining lugs at the bottom of said tube. However - you couldn't tell by looking, and by the time I noticed it, some oil had leaked out and dribbled down the back of the engine.

Maybe ?

Stu its well worth looking at the turbo bearing oil feed pipe, they start to leak you tighten up the nut a bit and it leaks again, only dripping but it is under pressure and a little can look like a lot! only fix is to get a new pipe, which will probably be a slightly different shape but still fits, I did my own, inlet manifold off job, but it gives a chance to clean all that gunk (that the EGR causes - blank it off at the same time) out of the manifold. It looks like a big job but it isn,t really, once you get the manifold off (allen bolts need a mirror to see them) hope this helps.
