So it all comes down to what you want from it and what you need to use it for.

One of the main reasons i swapped from my 2003 Arosa 1.0S to my 2002 Arosa TDi S was because i had a 60mile commute to uni to do, and i thought the extra MPg would be nice and the power for the motorway bits.

Obviously people with a sport will say buy a sport and people with a TDi will say buy a TDI, since thats what they have done.

So i say either make you mind up if you want lots of MPG and a fair bit or torque, or a 100BHP sport, with less MPG but more lively.

But dont forget, a remap will make a TDi quicker than the Sport.

:)

So then ScotlandToIbiza, Have you decided what its to be??

and what a nice arosa it is :p , your still better off with a mk2 phase 2

Yep the Mk2 Phase2 is the model to go for IMo too.

Ive got a Phase1 and Phase2, the two is far better, my phase1 doesnt have a passenger airbag, didnt come with a cd player (its got one now), has light interior, and since its a TDi it would have ABS if it was a phase2 but its doesnt.

So if you can find one, get a phase2 TDI or Sport, which ever takes your fancy :p
