So it all comes down to what you want from it and what you need to use it for.
One of the main reasons i swapped from my 2003 Arosa 1.0S to my 2002 Arosa TDi S was because i had a 60mile commute to uni to do, and i thought the extra MPg would be nice and the power for the motorway bits.
Obviously people with a sport will say buy a sport and people with a TDi will say buy a TDI, since thats what they have done.
So i say either make you mind up if you want lots of MPG and a fair bit or torque, or a 100BHP sport, with less MPG but more lively.
But dont forget, a remap will make a TDi quicker than the Sport.
