Low BHP on Liquid Gauge.

Hi
So I bought a liquid gauge for my LCR recently. Good piece of kit all round.
I've not done dyno runs yet but I've checked boost and BHP.
Boost as I've found out is ok. Up to 14 psi.
On the BHP side of things it's pretty low.
Seems to top out at 221
What would be the most likely reasons for this.
Dirty MAF?
Or is it the fact that having added aTIP, cone filter and heat shield along with a turbo back exhaust, the air flow has changed so much it now needs retuning to take these elements into account?
I was hoping for a gain on standard. Not a loss. So pretty deflated at present.
I know the turbo is not in the best condition, with play in the back and knocked blades on the front.
It still boosts ok but could this be part of the equation?
Any help would be golden. Cheers.

How does that gauge wire in? Is it accurate?

Apparently they are very good bit of kit. Quite a few people that used to frequent here have them.
It plugs strait into the OBD port.
It reads temp sensors, boost, torque, does digital gauges or graphs. does 0-60 and 0-100 times. Timing correction, code reading and clearing, throttle body resets. Probably even more than that. Fits into the air vent on right side of steering wheel.
I haven't fitted mine yet.

Bit like the torque app but with more things.
Throttle body reset sound cool.
But there not going to be 100% Spot on.
The app has a delay but not sure what's the delay time is with you're plug-in which is what is is. But saying that I guess vag-com may have a delay..I've not used it yet but have download the free version to see what its like to use...need a cable first.

Doesn't look as slick as that. Nice.

I have a 6" screen on my phone or 7" tablet that connects to it with a Bluetooth adapter. You have an android phone? There is a free version for you to try and can pick from many different looks and many different plug-in apps for it.

All I've ever known. I was thrown in the deep end with apple computers when I went to work for s graphics company. I've never used a pc
Started using their phones and rest is history.

So do you recon once the car is mapped it will have gains that reflect what's been added.
Do you think custom mapping would be worth it?

Your only 4hp away from what it should have been 13 years ago! As andrew says, it's just a rough calculation from the data, so i wouldn't say anything is wrong.

liquigauge is only calculating expected bhp not measuring it... based on calculated torque and airflow.
