i have the seat ibiza mk 2 and i want to lower it , the trouble is the place i live is well known for speed bumps.

how much would you recomend lowering by and can you recomend any gear i should use.

web links would be useful

Thanks

my old 16v was down 75 / 80 and as long as i went slowly over bumps i didnt have a problem.

my current 8v is down 40/40 and thats more then enough clearence and i now want to go lower.

Say goodbye to sensible !!!! as long as it looks awesome who cares

****OM's advice taken at own risk****

Dan.. you NEED to go lower ;)

Mine is dropped on a lowering kit at a 60/40 split at present, and where I live is speedbump city too.. I avoid certain roads if at all poss, but as Dan says, drive over them a bit lower and you'll be fine

dint measure my drop but at a educated guess its 60f and 70r and as long as i do 5 or less mph over the speed bumps that litter my area i ok but the procession behind me get well anoyed and dont understand why i go so slow but it makes me giggle!!!

BTW the rear is being raised soon as traction in the wet is horrible looking to get a lower front than back to help!!!

i was on a 60mm drop, then went back to standard
now got a 30mm drop, but i want 60mm again lol

i just can't win haha
