i think they are good. they came with the wheels but i looked at them on the net and they were priced at £60 a touch

Finally got a couple of poor pics of my coloured R8 replicas. I bottled it for the black but am very very pleased with the results though.
The lighting was pretty dull this morning im afraid, ill get some nice sunshine shots next time I wash the motor. The colour is titanium apparently…

I havn't see the leon with the r8 rims on yet they look smart mate! They 18s?? All you need now is to lower it and it will look immense!

D..B.. those look great, nice colour. Be good to see an up close when there's good light. Out of curiousity are they heavy? They say replica's can be heavy inexcess of 10Kgs and aftect handling and performance. Wanted to get some for our Touran thats why i ask. ET45?

Lowering would indeed look immense Gaz, I have now spent what I intend to on the car at the moment though (apart from rear flaps as it gets ‘bogin’ on every drive to work) so this just wont happen in the near future, bah!… you never know though…
Alex, I wont make the meet (where is it by the way?). I would come away wanting to do too much to my car anyway, dangerous for the Credit Card : ) Thanks for the offer mind, cheers. Ill look forward to reading what you do to your car next, a brake upgrade is of interest, defo…
Carr, ive actually no idea how much the wheels weigh im afraid??? I think the car handles well (but what do I know…) and does shift, very satisfying indeed (wheels spin way to much in wet though, murder!). I should have investigated ‘proper’ wheels but I just dropped the car off at Drivers in Glasgow and returned an hour later with an astatically better looking car (IMO)… I think they would look immense on yer VW, prob 19s would be the way to go there though? The centre caps are indeed a bug bear. I bought proper Seat ones from dealer a while back but they just didn’t fit (about 0.5mm too big?). Would have looked so good as well! They seemed quite poorly constructed with a flimsy tin covering, just buckled (I stupidly wasted all four). I might purchase some more and try again or I might spray my caps when I get wheels off for tyre change in the future…
I love my FR, its NICE!
