MAF bosch or Pierburg?

Locally i am being quoted £99 for a new MAF including exchanging the old one!

The peirburg make is considerably cheaper. Anyone used a peirburg to replace there Bosch MAF?
Also anyone know where to get a cheaper "original" Bosch MAF from?

My mate got his from GSF, I'm sure it was closer to £60 exchange. But it was for a Tolly V5.

Many people in the past have swapped out for a pierberg with mixed results, i think theres links in the TDI FAQ at the top of the TDI section, but a search will show you threads too. there will be a lot of info on TDIClub.com forums too.

Generally though the recent Bosch ones have been better so a replace with the OEM spec is advisable.
