i just picked up an exchange from my dealers at £80, a new one was £200!!

It looks well dirty too

Well as long as the sensor has been replaced it should be ok.

I'd check with the dealers, theres loads of different maf types. I've got a cupra, and the computer showed two types, depending on the age.

I recommend you do not get a replacement from GSF. Get one from vw they are £57 plus vat exchange and a lot more reliable than those from GSF

GSF sell cheap types, Bosch exchange and OE exchange MAFs, so you pay your money and get your quality.
