MAF or Something Else?

Push the actuator by hand with ease? You shouldnt be able to, the few actuators i've played with off the cars on K03 / K03S and AM04 turbo's have all been quite solid.

This may be your problem!!

OK thanks, I'll call the stealer and find out how much a OE one is then presuming you can order them separately to the turbo. The stock one should be fine for 17psi shouldn't it?

...although I just found this on another forum which is interesting

This might be handy for others to know... you can't order the actuator separate to the turbo, it all comes together for a handsome £1000

I think I'll have to order the Forge actuator then, but before I do, might it be possible to open the wastegate by hand without being Geoff Capes or someone?

OK just an update. I have a shiny Forge actuator sitting at home which I did take to be fitted but the rod was too thick. The hole on the waste gate lever needs drilling out to 6.3mm to take the 6mm Forge rod apparently.
Anyway, after that I had a coilpack fail. That's now been changed along with all the spark plugs. I also did the N112 bypass at the same time and put on a new N75 'F' valve.
Well, the car is running again but still maxes out at the same psi as before. VAG-COM still says no faults (apart from the misfire in relation to the coilpack). I reset the ecu and did a throttle body alignment.
The only things I'm left with now are fitting the actuator and testing the wastegate whilst there, and check for any leaks once again. :censored:
