Quick question as i'm not that mechanically minded. The MAF part is what attaches to my Dynatwist Induction kit isn't it? or am i way off track?

I think mine dead because the engine diagnostic light kept flashing off every so often for the last 2 months and now it's constantly on and my mpg have dropped. I've been told this could be due to the MAF sensor sending info for more fuel to go through due to a hot wire sensor inside that reads something or other?

I'm dumb when it comes to cars but trying to learn.

Also i've finally wired my boost gauge in and was surprised to find it boosts to 21psi. I though this was a little high? or is this normal?

Relating back to the MAF issue SEAT quoted me £98 to change the part which i thought wasn't that bad as had heard of much higher prices being quoted. Seen one on ebay for £48 though.

The MAF is connected to the dynatwist

if you disconnect the plug does the car feel better to drive? (don't do this for long)

is your car std? that'll be the telling of what boost it'll run

Dont touch the ones on ebay. I tried one, was faulty, sent it straight back.

There was a thread about them a few weeks back.

Ok thanks for the advice Simon!!! for the sake of an extra £50 i'd rather pay SEAT garage for the part and have cover of it actually working to begin with.

m0rk will try this tomorrow now i know exactly what part it is. I assumed it would be the Revo remap (stage 1) that would have up'd the boost but i still thought 21psi was high? other little mods include dynatwist, Forge FMIC, ko3s, forge dv, etc.
