My bad its just a plain cupra no R...

Does this mean 225bhp is putting lots of strain on the engine? Or is it the same engine as the R ?

same engine as the R just different state of tune (different ECU map)

its the same engine so no difference...just no brembos!

even if it was an R though it wouldnt be worth more than £4500 with 100k on it, a dealer woouldnt even give u that

as a regular cupra...if its over £4k id haggle cos for abit more dosh u could save urself around 30k miles

2001 Y, partial history, mint condition, 102K, 225 BHP 268 torque with rolling road print off. In black, sports exhaust and cats, better down pipe. exspensive 17's, after market carbon air filter.

I got a cupra (no R) for 4200 with fsh and 54k, dont pay over the odds.

Nope it's an R for sure, never looked at Seat's before so just learning.

Should be a nice upgrade for Vic from her 306 GTI any how.

He is asking low 3's but it needs some paint, been keyed so its all good.

When i was look for a cupra i called the guy and he said he would take 5k for it, it seemed a little too good to be true and it was a 5 hour drive so that went out of the window.
