Easy mate, get a known straight edge and place it across the flange face at several different points and shine a tourch on the other side so any gaps can be seen as light. Then use a feeler gauge to measure the gap. I would say anything over 0.5mm may not be taken up by the gasket.yea deffo go through sam mate, ive tried to email um personally and got no reply but sammy done the business, willy what did you use to check it was warped ? i wanna check this one before it goes on lol
think if this one is warpped or starts to leak ill be asking for a refund and just sticking standard back on and just enjoy my 301bhp for awhile lol
I for one want to see before/after gains and also longer term product longevity being given the pass..
I'm not convinced by the mani's tbh.
Not proven as such throughout the LCR community yet, and I'm not wanting to be a guinea pig either.
Looks like Martin is going to be the first one with a healthy car. All others are either in process of getting the car together or running them on a hybrid turbo. Dan Potter is the only other LCR who has got it on and mapped which he hit 285bhp and 265lb/ft on a dodgy actuator apparently. If he does see good gains then it's time to get the credit card out for another spanking![]()
Wrong. K04 on niki's rollers made a GENUINE 304bhp. This was with less boost than stage 2. So this will mean the turbo life will be extended. I dont get why your not convinced. Still plentey left in the car also.
Sam this has only just happened. Look when this comment was posted. At this point there were no clear results on whether much more can be achieved on the standard KO4. Yes on a hybrid it was but not a standard KO4 which is what most of us are running and will continue to run
I prefer the equal length design of this one but its longevity I'm thinking about now. What's the quality like of these manifolds? compared to the JBS one Bills got in.
yes the relentless manifold is a better design and will out flow the jbs manifold. both the jbs and relentless manifold had problems with the first models, relentless manifold would not fit without moding and the jbs used to crack all the time. so both manifold need to pass the longevity test. time will tell with both manifolds.
