Little update.

My birthday is in April so am going to hopefully get my new (but used) alloys resprayed.
In the mean time I have fitted my sound system that I kept from my astra.
Am going to probably change the colour of the centre console facia but that can wait for now.

Well got the wheels resprayed last weekend, then I fitted them yesterday and I love them. Car needs to be lower now though but that may come further down the line.
Next is probably drilled and grooved disks and pads, then to paint the calipers.

The car's looking good Matt, so what's next on the never ending list :rofl:

The cars MOT is soon and I'm going to service aswell, plus the cambelt I think is going to be due it's change so am going to do that all first probably. But as for mods go I am looking into new pads and drilled grooved discs with the calipers coloured lime green to complement the car, then lower and maybe get some spacers to get a nice stance.

Cool, I wouldn't advise drilled discs as they are known to crack over time. Better off with either grooves only or grooved & dimpled ;)

Ok cheers I may go for grooved and dimpled then. How low would you advise I go once I get some coilovers as I have read about the sump on diesels catching on the ground a lot especially over speed bumps?

I've only got lowering springs on mine + shallow sump, as long as you don't go too manic then you should be ok with a 30-40mm drop - just watch out for your driveshafts hitting your ARB if too low ;)

I'm not going to go low low just want to fill in the arch nicely and maybe put on some spacers aswell.

Hey guys not posted in a while as money been tight with mot and spending loads on the kids throughout the holidays!
Had to get three new tyres as mot so got some budget ones for now.
Did my calipers today as I just wanted them to not look so dull.

Also got my rear cupra badge and stuck in onto the front. I like it some of you guys won't but oh well.

Car's looking good Matt, you need to save for an exhaust with bigger outlets ;), it'll fill your gap nicely

I know haha I hate my little pea shooter exhausts. Yours looks so much better. I think that I may delete the back box and replace with straight through and a nice tip to fill it nicely keeping the cat, think they call it mufflerectomy haha.

Not posted in a while. Money has been tight and starting new job in a week so loads been going on.
Have just ordered parts for service as car is due, oil, oil filter, fuel filter and glow plugs for now will probably get a better panel air filter any suggestions for which one I should go for have heard green cotton panel filter is a good one.
Also was thinking of getting a fuel additive to clean out injectors and crud, what are people's opinions on doing this and would it be best to do before the oil change? Any help much appreciated!

In regards of aftermarket air filters - don't bother!
Save your money and just stick with a nice fresh paper one on a diesel as that's what works best.

Read other people say that aswell but I may get a green cotton replacement filter. Just having it in there might make me think the car is going faster haha even though it won't be.
