MIB unit refuses to let me code adaptations after retrofit

So I retrofitted a mhi2 unit upgrading from a mib1, I managed to do the long coding using obdeleven but when I try to enter and code the adaptations it says function not available and they are empty. Tried everything from rebooting the unit to even disconnecting the battery to maybe soft reset the unit but nothing, cp is indeed off.
