Hi guys,

I'm currently looking into updating my MIB3 system on my Ibiza 2020 FR Sport 115ps. It is currently on 0777 and from the looks of things it should be at 0870. When looking on MIB.solutions I can see a number of files in this folder but I'm not entirely sure what I should be downloading. I dowloaded the zip file and when I try to extract it, it seems to throw up a number of errors, which to me indicates it's corrupt in some way. I have been to the SEAT garage twice and asked them to update it but every time I get the car back it's still on 0777. I asked them about this and they said, "Well that must be the latest update". Personally, I think that they haven't even bothered. If anyone has done this or has any suggestions on how to do this, that would be very helpful.

the files are in the "Root" directory

At least when I'm searching for it on the Main Page...

Hi!

I have exactly the same situation, same firmware and hardware. I tried all updates from MIBsolutions but no succes updating.

stays on 0777. I get the variant mismatch error when updating, even when I try older versions of firmware in between the most recent firmware.

Did it work for you? greatly appreciated.

Hi mate,

The only way i got it updated was by going to SEAT. After countless times with them telling me it was up to date they decided to actually watch what the computer was doing when it was trying to update my system. They realised that the software update was failing midway. So they said that I had a faulty module which they quoted me over a grand for! Luckily I had some warranty from the garage I bought the car from. So they replaced the module and it updated fine.
