ive just recently purchased the splitter forge d/v and i read a topic that was posted recently and there was a link which spoke abit about the d/v 'it didnt sound good' now was this a good buy or not because forge which i thought were very good, they recommend it. If its crap id like to no. even though i might be a waste of money:-(

i just fitted one and its sounds good with my induction kit and ive still had no warning lights etc!

the splitter is okay if it is set up well! however the 007p from forge is fit and forget.. thats what a lot of people on here use :)

if i was to make it 100% recirculating would it be the same as the 007 dump valve

Danny c87 have you got the cupra r. if so what air filter have you got

yep, cupra r, i've got a green cotton panel filter with a smoothed airbox and a larger air feed - seems to be the most effective way of induction; i tried open cone for a while and reverted back to the uprated panel filter.

from memory the filter was around £40 from "ibizacupra" on this forum (Bill from Badger 5 forum sponser); smoothing your airbox and enlarging the feed is an afternoons diy, have a search, D.K has done a good guide for it.

and any good cuz my mate said he will do it for me for £250 which looking around the web that looks lik a good price

they are based on wolverhampton, their maps are on special offer at the moment.:)

how long have you had it? can you really tell the differance

had it done about a month ago; the difference in amazing, pulls like a train... highly recommended!
