Whilst fitting the liquid gauge i had to remove the cd player, like a numpty i didnt have a code for it so it didnt work when plugged it back in, Anyways this gave me an excuse to upgrade to this which ive now ran my ipod through :)

All things were going good until some T**t knocked in to me and smashed my wing mirror and didnt stop, it smashed the glass, cover and the actual unit so had to replace it all, Nearly fainted at the price at near £150 but never the less it had to be replaced so i ordered a new one.

On a much brighter note, my wheels and tires should be on in about 2 weeks, the cars booked in for respray and some other work at the end of february, and hopefully all being well some new suspension but still undecided what to get. All this needs to be done Before Ultimate Dubs which i hope to be coming too :D

Nice update mate.

Looks like we both had a similar update with regards to our wing mirror...........grrr. If you haven't fitted it yet and need any info on how to do it let me know or check my build thread in my sig where I have tried to list my steps. Not too difficult to do but a bit fiddly

Yeh it makes you want to give up but then again in the next few weeks it will be the biggest changes the car will have . . I cant wait to get the wheels on too, every time i go to buy tires i get a problem somewhere else which drains funds. ive had another problem, My locking wheel nut key snapped, went to Seat and " We dont make them anymore and cant get them off " Great!
Luckly My bro in law is a mechanic and borrwoed the master kay set with every one in there so its all sorted now. :)

Hahah if i was a millionaire i would :p

Ive Been looking at different seats and getting ideas for when i want to change them, I have a mate whos mate works at lotus and can get me some very nice seats quite cheap and ive yet to see them fitted to a VAG car so may go down that route ;) ive still got plenty to do before i buy seats tho :( . .

On a different note, I had my cambelt, waterpump, tensioners, and auxillery belt changed wednesday and i picked the car up yesturday, must say it feels like it pulls a little better but it may just be me thinking that tho  . .

So this weekend the fun starts :D . . saturday night when i finish work ill be prepping the car with a mate to have the roof, spolier, mirrors, front bumper grills and rear bumper insert all gloss black like my new wheels going on and working all day sunday on the car :)

Im also opening up the front bumper and getting rid of the numberplate bit like Dan and a few other people ( Thanks to Dan for the advice by the way :) ) . .

This is the stuff ill use http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400180969302&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

I also bought some Legal pressed plates too as mine are looking a little tired, and some black polish to bring my steering wheel back to life :)
