yeah very good option, only thing to watch though is it will bring the drive shaft closer to the chassi, you may need to notch it, which is what alot of the air guys do, i run the spacers as that little bit of security, iirc the shallow sumps only offer 10mm if that
Surely notching will be needed, i had an mk4 gti and that needed doing and was no way near as low as yours. Looks friggin awesome so it would be a shame to raise it. The engine blocks are a v.good shout, but i would combine them with a shallow sump and a chassis notch, most bodyshops can notch for about £100 to allow room for the driveshaft...
Yeh theres a few more i wanna do.. USC.. Hellaflush Uk.. Inters.. Edition38.. Its just finding the time to get the little things finished with it.. then i can concentrate on some bigger things
Went USC last year, don't think il go this year round. Found there were too many chavs down there spoiling it for everyone. First night someone died overdosing, when the party was going on a load of bottles were flying left and right, plus too many 1.4 on the strip making it hassle to get a go. Loads of t1t action tho on the plus note
Yeh i know what you mean mate... plus the last 2 years its rained ... Seems to have turned in to a weekend piss up for chavs to be fair with less to do and look at each year... altho the foam tent was amusing last year
Nothing really worth putting up mate.. Fitted new discs, pads and few other bits i needed, the engine spacers should hopefully be on this week sometime, Been crammed with work which is great but the car hasnt got any new toys.... saving for some bigger plans now anyway
