Cheers lads...

So been having mega problems this weekend, Cars decidied to lose loads of compression for no reason, spent saturday night on it and yesturday and still no joy...

The only thing is that the tensioner under the cam chain should be going up and down, mine stays in the up position all the time, so im praying its that thats gone and nothing else..

You can turn the car over by hand easyly and theres no noises or hard spots, has fuel, great spark etc etc..

3days before im supposed to tax it, and 11 days before probably one of the biggest shows its going to go to...

Absolutely gutted

If you don't think you'll make it to UD anyway... What's the harm in pulling the head off and seeing what's up with it? If you aren't going to make it then what have you got to lose?

Cos im not confident enough and havent got the facilities to do it to be honest.. Everyone ive spoke to have said it's 99% certain thats its not head gasket or piston/valve damage.. obviously i cant be certain but just left ticking over it couldnt have done much damage.. Im hoping to get the car back to mine tonight and have another good look, but the engine turns over freely, both cams move, theres lots of oil/ coolant and fuel in it, and all plugs make a good spark, all sensors are plugged in etc.. it was running then just died and have low compression now...

Glad to say the car is now running and better :)

It was just heavly flooded and lost most of its compression due to wash down... had to put new plugs in and tow it down the road several meters and bump it till it cleared it self.. a bit of smoke later and its running sweet again thank god!..

Anyways, whole day yesturday spent on it, inside is now completely done, cleaned, and fresh interior after having it all redone is now in :)

Also gave it a good washed and sealed all my wheels up with wax, and got the engine bay all bolted back together after ripping it apart to find the problems..

So things are back to normal, at it WILL be at UD :)
