As per Ravey:

Not secret but readily available from the 3 outlets ive mentioned.

They will offer the systems along with the latest Stage 2 from Revo as a package I do believe.

I look forward to the side by side shots of OEM & Milltek parts - I think it'll be easier to see where the money has gone

1020.12????!!!!!!

thats the same price for the TFSI, same price for my old ST and same price for many other exhausts. All along i was expecting about £500 per section, its pretty generic across all vehicles if you go for a brand name exhaust. alot cheaper if you go custom though

Yeah, I checked awesome but nothing up there yet. So does the TBE system include the REVO stage 2 map then?

:lol: behave. never happening lol. They have the free fitting deal on at the moment which is good, iirc AMD charge something horrendous like £70 per hour labour, so id get in on the free fitting deal. otherwise id get an independent to do it.

If you have stage 1, REVO normally charge an additional £50+ vat to upgrade to the stage 2 map.

So it'll be either the downpipe(£587) + stage 2 upgrade(£50) or you can go for the full TBE(£1012) and stage 2 upgrade (£50).

Never gone down the route of a exhaust modification before so my knowledge is basic at best. Are there going to be much in the way of gains with the cheaper option or is it simply sound and aesthetics? As much as i'd love to be able to spend £1012 on the TBE system it's not realistic for me to afford it anytime soon.

there are two parts to the exhaust system.

the downpipe (including sports cat) this generally runs from the turbo to the centre of the car. this is where you will get all your power gains and a deeper burble, nut not to much louder.

the Catback part runs from the centre of the car all the way to the tail pipes. this part contains you silencers etc and gives you noise and that's about it from my experience.

the turbo back exhaust (TBE) is both the above parts together. If you go stage 2 you have to have the downpipe at a minimum.

I did the full TBE on my octavia and ST. but not in the one go, i always went for the downopipe first, followed by the cat back. this time i wont be getting a cat back at all.

vRSy: cheers for the reply!

I'm not sure where i'm going to go with this. Its the same situation i was in with Revo. I could do with waiting a couple of months to gather the money, but there's an offer on that ends before then lol
