Has anyone brought a milltek resignated cat back system for there cupra?? Have brought one and havnt fitted it yet, am worried it will be to quiet?? Any ideas, anybody heard one fitted??? Thanks!!

i believe it will be less noisy than the non res but its still a good system ive heard. However i have the cupra and i want the oval tailpipe look so im gettin me a supersprint race system which is 63mm i think and very sexy. i know alot of people on this forum have the twin exits with miltek exhaust and i personally dont like the look of those. Still better than standard tho.

Yeah i see where you are coming from. Wanted to keep it looking quite standard. Not the nicest place where we park it so wanna keep it a little less obvious. Thankyou for the info!!

Also i have noticed you have a cupra on an 02 plate to. Do you get a little knock if changing gear slowly??
Hi there, i do have the 02 pre face lift model but to be honest i very rarely change gears slowly as im a speed freak. Sorry thats not true every time, i dont hear a thing when i change gears except my split r dump blowing off.
How do you mean knocking sound is it loud? do you feel a jerk or what?
I know its not the same car but ive got the full resonated Milltek system on my Octavia vRS and its only a little louder than standard.
When you get the system on though let it warm up (10/15 mins) and it will get louder as thats what happens with mine

Its not loud but annoying, i also get it if when im at idle i quicky press the throttle. Its doing my head in. Thats my next buy a dump valve. Going for the forge 007dp i think. Seems to be the most talked about. Whatd o you think?? Oh man i hope the exhaust isnt to quiet. Nice to have a bit of sound!!!

Oh yer, you said it is pre face lift model. How did it change from 02?? Is that when they came with the body kit??

I've got a full miltek on my 03 20vt, and it's not loud, its a lot deeper sounding than the standard exhaust at low revs, but does have a rasp at higher revs

Hiya yes mine is early 02 but just before the change in that took place. The change was different front and back bumpers and mirrors i think. I would love the Cupra R bumpers tho they are sexy

I'll second that. Not sure if i will purchase any though. Cant decide wether to go 17's and as low as i can go with plenty of power or put a kit on. I quite like the slammed power look. What do you think?? So its all sitting in the loft. Have got the milltek cat back exhaust, 60mm lowering kit, just going to order the 007dp forge dump valve, induction kit, all air intake chrome piping. God im pulling my hair out!!!

Daisy have you had the dogbone mounts fitted yet? if not it is a great little mod. Oh and which K+N induction kit have you got is it the apollo cis??
