misfire/juddering

iv got a seat cupra, just a quick question, when im on duel carrigways n that in forth and 5th gear and i put my foot down you can feel it juddering for a couple seconds and then it picks up. just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem or any idea what it could be?

you need to get it on a diagnostic to check for faults, possible your coilpacks are going/ maf is playing up. play the guessing game but need to get it scanned.

My money would be on the MAF from what you have described but as said get yourself some vag com and get it on. Only costs around a tenner and use the ross tech free software All the info is in the vag com section.

sounds like MAF, although could be a coil pack on its way not quite firing correctly, maybe a spark plug

I've plugged it in a few times, i used to get N70 valve code then i soldered all the resistors in and now there are no fault codes showing. It has S3 coilpacks on which are known to be stronger, and i've ecently done the spark plugs. Seems the MAF sensor could b the one, only thing is it's not showing any fault codes.
I've been looking on ebay at VAG COM and it sells for about £30, is that the one i need?
