Need some fancy pictures of the cupra tbh!

Yeah you do , we still havn't had that shoot lol

Have to wait for my cupra bumper and will look ace :)

Cheers Ed, much money, time and effort have gone into both of them haha

Yeh standard suspension is like a 4 inch lift kit on a 4x4 yet solid as hell! Think my cupra only lasted a week or so at standard height lol

I think my thread will give you some good ideas where to go with upgrading parts cos i only started on it a couple of months ago so its a fairly compact thread for the stuff done!

Yea, not sure what Seat where thinking when they got to the suspension on the car, ah well, least it's easy enough to bang the coilovers on.

You definately didnt wait around, tis a good read, beats the build threads that are just people cleaning their car once a week and changing the colour of the magic tree :p"

Although saying that, being at Uni and having 2 cars, insurance, tax etc at the moment really isnt easy until I get the Polo gone..

Fave shots of my old fr on the same, bit lower at the front than my cupra but not at the back (newer version of the weitecs appear to be slightly lower at the rear with adjusters out):

What spacers are the black one?

has anybody tryed or got kw basic variant 1 coilovers? im startin to sway towards them now as they have a really good offer on at the moment and there suppose to be of a really high quality.

The KW V1s are a very good option and with the discounts available at the moment its a great time to buy them.

It's about 13-14 :) perfect height! It can scrub a tad if you corner harsh and hit a little bump, bit nothing too bad tbh!

In the pics up top of the White on, that had 9-10 threads left to go but was an utter no no with standard wheels!

i fitted my coilovers today and to say im happy with them would probably be an understatement which is good as i dont want to have to do it again lol.
id definitely recommend them over standard cupra suspension thanks to those of you who talked me into coilovers.
ill post some pictures up monday.

Fitted some AP's to my Cupra today and am getting a knocking noise that sound to me like ARB on Driveshaft, from what I've read on here though, I shouldnt be having this issues with AP's on standard drop links?

Only happens on bumps, cant make the knock on full lock in either direction though going tightly round corners..

I'm about 2cm from the bottom of the thread on the fronts.

Cheers, Ed!

wind the fronts up a bit then it sounds like your way to low at the front.

16 threads on the front, nowhere near as low as some, gonna get myself some shorter drop links off a mondeo an see how things go from them.

It's drivers side knocking at the front of driveshaft, as stuck some paint on the ARB to see where it was catching.
