Mk 4 Ibiza cupra rear silencer

Hi, I was just woundering if the rear silencer box from the cupra, would fit the FR. [ The one with the oval tailpipe].

cant see there being a problem fitting then the body is the same only problem wil be the cut out for the 1.4 and cupra one fits nice with the standard bumpers!

Errr I think you may have a problem with bumpers...

But James (kelly) robbed mine off me to put on his FR.

Think he had a cupra rear bumper on though. Might be worth tracking him down.

maxcars1 has cupra backbox on the standard bumper he only needed the fr cut out!

saying that the new face lift has different bumpers for fr and cupra to the rest of the range so not sure on the new face lift but a yes to pre face lift ones!

yup jus to confirm, DIFT's Cupra (diesel) did fit my car no problems, but like he said i do have the cupra bumper

...or if youve got the TDi; you could just get rid of the back box and have a straight thru pipe with an oval ending like i did.

Costs about £100, Sounds Better, Probably about a 0.5% performance increase if your lucky and about 25kg less weight on the back of your car!
