Mk1 Leon 1.6 enigne bay

I'm looking for a picture of a standard mk1 Leon 1.6 engine bay, my sisters has a rather big void on the right where I would have thought the airbox should be.

I have done a search but could not find anything, please help!

Where the silver filter is, is where the airbox should be

Hmmm, on my sisters car above the battery there is nothing, I would expect there to be a big plastic air box as there is on my Cupra?

depends if its the 16v one, mine is the 8v and yes there was an airbox!!

The 16v 1.4 has a big hole too. Like so:

Mine is the 1.6 16v and I have a big hole too.

On these engines, the air filter is the big black box above and behind the cylinder head, right over the top of the inlet manifold.

yes big space above battery and the air box is underneath and built into the engine cover!

Hi guys, I have a 1.6 16v MK1 Leon and I'm trying to find the starter motor to replace it (not disengaging properly), got a spare through today from the brokers yard. I know, im a noob, but is there any chance someone could point it out in a pic to me?
