Mk1 Leon Head Unit Installation

Hi, I have 2001 ibiza and I believe I have the same stereo, I have simply unplugged the brown and black plugs from the back of the standard stereo into the back of my pioneer stereo that I'm wanting in, however the original is not turning on and allowing me to control the fans, could I have some help
