Mk2 20v conversion

Its been asked 1 squillion times i know but my friend wants to know hes got a 5 door ibiza at the moment naw i know hes got the dosh to do it... but before he goes to do it im just wondering ..

Are the engine mounts the same??

what engine does he have in the ibiza currently?

subframes will be fine though, power steering pipes take different routes, so this might foul on the front subframe

5-door is likely to be a 1.4

Yes its a 1.4 lol do all the mk3 and mk2 ibiza have the same mounts

One on the gearbox attaching to the front subframe

One on the rear of the gearbox

One on the left rear of the block

I'd just buy a Mk3

dont forget to build the 'sleeper' you would also need to up-rate suspension, brakes, etc etc

and this would all lead to ££££££££

Be much more cost effective to buy a MKIII
