mk2 and mk3 driveshafts?

Hi all,

A slightly odd question - does anyone know if mk3 (1.8t) and mk2 (2.0 8v) use the same driveshafts? I've read that the hub carriers (uprights) are the same but I was wondering if there are any more shared components.

driveshafts are different from memory 2.0 16v uses the same as mk3 20vt tho
