Sorry it does not do anything for me. I think it need to extend down the sides a little

I'd agree with stretching down the sides but I quite like it in fact I'm considering it myself although I have seen one I prefer

Can I be cheeky and ask how much they charged to get an idea if the dealer is about right on the money  Thinking of getting the side skirts too. Ringing them today to get prices so we shall see

What luck. I've been mulling over whether to get one myself. You've got silver too which is a bonus.

Every time I see pics from the back and see the shadow it casts on the window it puts me off - it's the missing bit in the middle.

But I saw one in silver at the dealership yesterday in the flesh I don't think it looks too bad. Can't make up my mind. Will watch this thread with interest.

Hmmm not sure. It does stick out quite a bit and looks terribly bolt on but, looks a little odd without it. I'd remove it if it were me as it kind of conflicts with all those nice smooth lines.

The spoiler was £85 + vat and the spraying and fitting was £100 + vat although this included spraying a spare set of covers for both sides of the side skirts as I'd lost one, touching up of stone chips and the removal of a dent I'd done in the door. - all done by the dealer.

I don't think i'd spend £185 + Gords Tax on it ( even including the other work done) - i'm sure you could put that money to better use, like spraying the lower rear bumper insert body colour or something ..... it just doesn't look quite right when the rest is smooth and clean.

Simon34 had his bumpers smoothed front and back and visually, it made more of a difference, slightly more subtle.

Covers for the side skirts sven7? Ordered the side skirts and just wondered what you meant by covers. Will grab a spoiler off motordrome in Greece if they ever reply to me a nd get them sprayed at the same time. Prob fit myself as they don't sound to bad to do.
What was the final choice for the spoiler? To bin or not to bin?

The covers are the jacking point covers - I'd lost one at the front and at the time they were a pain to order from the dealer so I got some spare ones as the spraying was all included in the price of the spoiler.

I think the spoiler is one of those where its not to everyones taste as the poll results have shown. Personally its growing on me, especially when I see Leon's about without and I like to think it makes mine a little bit 'personalised!'.

Therefore I'm going to keep the spoiler - its going in next week to have another one fitted which hopefully should be blemish free.
