wow thats come up real nice mate and that engine look nice to! so as mentioned what is it and were you got fromim guessing its still a KO4S as you said you liked it! top work make

Dunno - not that much is known about what's REALLY inside them, I can theorise that they have either standard internals, or super tricked up conrods and pistons...

Problem is, like I said, nobody really knows what's inside.

Just look at the blanked off DV outlet (couldn't look in the charge pipe to see if it has baffles, could you?), bolt down coilpacks, lockwired everything and scrutineering tags, extra MAP sensor on the inlet, inlet manifold (is that flowed?), different FPR.

It might have different injectors, there appears to be an extra take-off on the LHS of the charge pipe, I wonder what the turbo is...

Where did you get it?

Place that built the motor in mine took one apart, nothing special about them, but they said the valves were dowled or somthing - few little bits here and there etc

I had the pleasure of building these engines for a few seasons, and I can confirm there is a bit more trickery than just dowled valves!! Theorise all you like but trust me these engines are quite tricked out but in a very discreet way. My question is how did you get it? These were built and issued by Seat Sport and were on a return basis only and to buy one originaly would have cost far more than a lot of peoples cars on here!!!

One thing is for sure, get it well set up and it will be a WOMAD!!!! Good Luck it will be worth it!

I saw that but your a bit out on the price unless you missed a zero off the end!

not sure, another member on here told me that was how much he seen it on there for......

If he did get it for £500 thats a billy bargain!! Cant see it though the KO4 on it is worth that on it's own!

sorry for the delay in updating this thread. Moved house and changed jobs, so car was left in the garage for a while.

Its now all finished and been fitted with a JBS05 turbo and snow performance kit and is currently up at JBS getting mapped with CC3, should be done soon so will update with pictures and performance figures.
