Thanks for your review Scott. My ST is currently a couple of weeks away from build and with so few out there you wonder what might turn up come collection day.
If I can refer back to my earlier question, how does the ST feel in terms of comfort on our roads. My Exeo ST Sport Tech is very harsh over the slightest bump or pothole and I hoping this may be a little more forgiving. I only had the chance to test drive the FR 150 ST but ended up ordering the FR 184 (with upgrade to 18 Alloys).
Glad the Sound System is good also, this was a late addition to my wish list.

It feels very comfortable on the roads, no complaints at all.

Is the car fitted with the dynamic pack? If so, what are the differences in ride comfort in the different damper settings?

I was interested in the adaptive chassis control (DCC) which is on the SEAT website within the ST / performance section but when I asked at four SEAT dealers not one knew much about it or we're even aware of it. One dealer was adamant that I was confused with the driver profile options until I pointed them to the SEAT website.

I did contact SEAT customer service who said it hadn't come out yet and it wasn't even an option. It will be released after April and will be part of the Dynamic Pack you mention and will only be available on the more powerful models. I replied by saying the website was very misleading as it didn't state if it was an option or specific to certain models to which they agreed and would log it with the marketing team. Two weeks later and it's still on!!

Based on this I doubt this car had it fitted.

Good spot. Looks crap without it - but then at least it can't break I guess.

I was actually quite pleased that my car didn't come with the flap, makes gives me somewhere to put my phone and wallet without having to bother with a flap. The rubber mat is really good also and stops things moving around.

I've had correspondence from Seat customer services twice over the dynamic pack option. The first said it would be available to order on the FR184 & 180 at the beginning of Feb and the second to say it would be available at the beginning of March with the launch of the Cupra. Both wrong!

It's annoying as I want to include it as an option on my order, plus it's available in different markets already.

Yes the cubby hole is really useful. Just stick the phone in there connected via bluetooth and it doesn't slide around.

Scott

So to double check, the cars that don't get the flap get a little rubber mat that sits inside the cubby hole?
I wonder if you can buy the little rubber mat from the parts department as that would be handy to have, like you guys say stops things from moving about :)

Sorry to be thick but could somebody post a bicture of the flap that is now omitted please.
I am picturing in my mind that most of the armrest, including the slidy forward bit, is now not there which would be disappointing.
My car isn't due to be built until week 11 and I'll be sitting here festering until it turns up to see what has gone.

Now I know I am thick. Just looked at the photos again and saw the flap is actually under the climate control area.
Shame that has changed in my opinion, I thought the flap looked tidy.

Have you heard any more to when it will be available to order?

I'm debating whether to order my Leon ST just yet in case it is an imminent option, although with me looking at the 1.4 petrol there's less of a chance of it being an option anyway.

See below for the latest from Seat Customer Services received 27.02.14:

"Many thanks for contacting SEAT UK Customer Services regarding the dynamic chassis control on the SEAT Leon FR 184PS.

I am delighted to inform you that following the release of the SEAT Leon Cupra, the dynamic chassis control will become available.

The Cupra has Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) and progressive steering as standard which is available to order now and these two items of equipment will be packaged together and called the FR Dynamic Pack. This pack will only be available on the following Leon FR derivatives on all 3 body styles:

- 1.8 TSI 180 PS (manual + DSG)
- 2.0 TDI 184 PS (manual + DSG)

The pack will be available to order shortly after the launch of the Cupra in March 2014. At the moment we do not have the prices available however these will be published nearer the time. Please note, these will not be available until at least 24 March however this date may change."

So, still nothing definitive!
